Protective intelligence · Principals, sites, events

Find the pathway before the act.

The signals almost always exist first: a grievance, a fixation, an approach. Protective intelligence is the discipline of seeing them in time. GeoBit runs a structured assessment program for your people and places, keeps a standing watch on the subjects and locations that matter, and documents every case so it stands up to counsel. A named analyst runs it in your hours, with the whole floor behind them.

What the program does

Assess the people. Watch the places. Manage the cases.

Protective intelligence sits between security, legal and human resources. It needs a method, a watch behind it, and a file that holds up afterwards. We run all three.

Threat assessment and management. Subjects of concern tracked on warning behaviours, pathway stage and concern level, each with a documented management plan from intake to closure.

Recognised methods, applied and recorded. Pathway-to-violence models, the Secret Service threat assessment approach, and the site and organisation methods your auditors know, scored and saved against the asset.

Executive and principal watch. A standing watch on a person, a family, an organisation or a brand across news, social and messaging platforms, with a threat read and alerting against the principal's location.

Event and venue assessment. The pre-event threat picture, crowd and protest forecast up to fourteen days ahead, ingress and egress ranking, and a plan for the day.

Insider and workplace violence. Structured intake, assessment and management of concerning behaviour, integrated with your human resources and legal leads, using recognised workplace-violence frameworks.

How a case runs

Intake to closure, on a documented process.

STEP 1

Intake

A report, a message, a post, a tip. Logged with source, date and who raised it. Nothing is dismissed and nothing is inflated at intake.

structured
STEP 2

Assess

Warning behaviours, pathway stage, concern level, using a recognised method the file records. Two sources before a claim about a subject.

method + evidence
STEP 3

Watch

The subject, the principal and the places go onto the entity watch and the site watch. The floor reads; the analyst reviews every morning.

standing watch
STEP 4

Manage

A management plan per case: who does what, the triggers that change posture, the people who need to know, and the check-ins.

plan per case
STEP 5

Close

Closure criteria, a closing assessment, and a file that records method, evidence, analyst and date for every decision.

defensible
Floor

The watch keeps reading

Entity watch across news and social platforms, site watch rings with activity measured against each site's own baseline, and the same corroboration discipline as the watch floor.

Analyst

A named analyst runs the program

In your hours, working with your security, legal and human resources leads. Cases follow one documented process from intake to closure.

You

You keep the decision

The analyst recommends the posture. Your leads decide it. Every step is logged, so the file explains itself to counsel and to a court.

Who runs one

Anyone with a person, a place or a date that draws attention.

Executives

Corporate security

Principals, families and the people who threaten them by name. Pairs with the executive protection desk.

Workplace

Human resources and legal

Concerning behaviour assessed and managed on a documented process, integrated with the people who own the decision.

Sites

Facilities and campuses

Community opposition, fixated individuals and the site's own three-scale picture, watched after the report is delivered.

Events

Venues and dates

The crowd and protest forecast, the actors with a reason to be there, and a watch on the day.

Public figures

Brands and personalities

A standing watch on the name, the organisation and the places it appears, with a threat read behind every alert.

Firms

Security and risk firms

A protective intelligence desk under your brand, run by us, for the clients you already have.

A method, a watch, and a file. All three, or it is not a program.

A concern level without a method is an opinion. A method without a watch is a snapshot. A watch without a file is indefensible. We run all three, with a named analyst who knows your people and your places.

How to start

Three steps. The first one is the form below.

Day 1

Tell us who and where

The principals, sites or events, what has prompted the question, and who on your side owns the decision.

Next business day

Scope, date, analyst

The program shape, the first assessments and when they land, and the quote. Say yes and intake opens the same day.

Week 2

The first cases, and the watch

Assessments delivered, the entity and site watch armed, the quarterly review booked. One-month minimum, then at-will.

Side by side

Reacting to the act, or working the pathway.

Get in the door

Start with one product. Or one month. Or tell us what you need.

You do not have to hire a desk to start. Pick one fixed first thing, or describe something else entirely, tell us where and when, and a person comes back within one working day with a scope, the date it lands, and the quote. Say yes and the work starts the next business day.
